Cody B. is a young man on a mission. Cody is 15 and will be getting his drivers license soon and he has been eye balling a 78 dodge truck I have had for sale for the past year or so. Cody really really wants this truck. So I made a deal with him. Here is how he can get the truck for free and help mom, the breast cancer awareness cause and himself at the same time.
If Cody can get 1000 people to make a donation of $10.00 each then I sign the truck over to him free and clear and he owns the very truck he has been eye balling for the past year or so. Ten dollars isn't going to break anyones bank and it's going towards three great causes. I personally commend Cody for taking on such a challenge. Lets all help him reach his goal!
Please help cody help mom, the breast cancer awareness cause and himself by making a donation of $10.00 and sending me an e-mail: coachrich@babystepcoaching.com stating that Cody referred you that way he'll get the credit applied towards the 1000 people. When you make the donation you can also leave a few words for mom & state that Cody referred you in that section as well.
Thank you very much for your kindness and support.

When you first get the news.
Wow, I can't even begin to describe how I felt when I got the news from the Doctor. I'll never ever forget it. There I was in sitting in the doctors office getting examined and the Doctor looks at my breast and said I've seen this before and it's cancer. He said he was 90% certain.
From there they take a core biopsy and sent it in to get tested. My breast was enlarged at that point and my instinctive gut feeling was that it was malignant. Not knowing to what degree and just waiting for the results to come back for the official word was nerve racking. Well the news came back and sure enough its malignant. So the doctor ordered more tests ct scan , bone scan organs etc... amazingly enough no cancer anywhere else just yet. The tumor is large and so the doctors say they have to shrink it before they can look at removing it.
I'm getting seen by Mt Carmel Hospital here in Columbus Ohio. Well let me tell you, these people are less than cordial when it comes to bed side manners etc... My oncologists told me that the cancer is incurable and that the best that they could hope for was chemo and radiation.
I am still floored over being diagnosed with cancer, then she tells me its not curable. I just broke down in tears...all I could do was cry. I mean I'm 58 years young with 6 grandchildren and a whole lot of life before me and here this women is telling me that I'm diagnosed with terminal cancer!
Ya know I have heard about so an so getting cancer and so and so getting cancer, but I never thought in a million years I would get cancer. I'm feeling so lost right now. My family is in the immediate area and comforts me as much as they can. My Son Richard has been truly a blessing. He has given me hope and comfort. He happens to be a health and wellness coach so those learned professional coaching skills are coming in handy. I also spoke with Jean Vaux who is also a health and wellness coach that graduated with my son. She is very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk with. I look forward to talking with Jean more in the future.
Rich recommended that I start seeing Doctor Wells at Wells Family chiropractic as that's who his whole family sees every week. Doctor wells has been a god send. He is so knowledgeable and kind. Doctor Wells has been so good to me. I was way out of wack and so the adjustment process will help me a great deal. When the nervous system works right the body works right. I feel so much better after being adjusted! I have started on natural supplements to try and boost my immune system.
Ya know oddly enough the woman oncologist that told me the cancer was terminal also told me to stop taking natural supplements as they may conflict with the chemo and radiation and other medicines that they were to give as part of the cancer treatment. I did not agree with that and neither did my son. One of the first things any cancer patient has to do is beef up the immune system and start a detoxification program. I have cancer because of a immune system dysfunction in the first place.
So my husband found the Cancer treatment centers of America. We called them set up an appointment for an evaluation. What I am liking about them so far is that they treat with natural whole food supplements incorporate a detox program and treat with chemo and radiation.
The Cancer Treatment Centers Of America have been very helpful. They pay for my round trip fair if I were to fly, but since I despise flying anymore we have elected to drive out to Illinois to the center. They said they would pay our gas money out and back. Now how nice is that. I just can't say enough good things about them so far. They even told me don't think the cancer is terminal...not until we have had our evaluation and had our say so....we have an excellent track record of ridding folks of cancer.
So on Sept 3rd I will be attending my first appointment with the cancer treatment centers of America. I am as you can imagine very anxious to get the treatment started. My husband and I do not make much money and this cancer issue is going to take a major toll on our finances. My son has spent a thousand so far in a natural supplements cancer fighting package. As time goes on this is going to get more and more expensive. My son had the idea of asking the kind folks on the internet for help ...maybe if you would be so kind enough to make a small donation via paypal that would certainly help us a great deal. Every little bit helps. I will keep my blog updated for many reasons. I am going to beat this cancer! Any donations that are left unused for treatments will be donated to the breast cancer research foundation.
I have made up my mind that come hell or high water I will beat this thing and return to a normal life. This blog will be my account ...the official record of what I am doing right now, my diet, the supplements I am taking, all the treatments I undergo.... this blog will be a complete record of it as it happens. I want this blog to serve as a guideline for others to read and if they so desire can do some if not everything I am about to do cause like I said I am going to beat this thing. I'm a fighter that's one thing I know for sure.
Well, the other day I went over to my sons house to help him with a couple of projects he has going. Painting and cleaning the deck so that he can apply some water sealant. I am feeling ok, Since I started taking wheat grass I can now sleep through the night. I have cut out all sugars and basically just about everything that comes in a bag, box or a can. Our food supply is horrible. I am more aware now than ever of just how poor our food really is. The average grocery store is filled with mostly processed food loaded with all kinds of nasty's.
Ya know it's almost as if there is a huge racket going on. Why is it that organic whole food, the good for you foods are so expensive as compared to the average grocery store food that's for the most part ( as I have learned ) terrible for us? It just doesn't make any sense. I think it's all about the money. The processed food industry tactic....mass distribution of low cost low quality food....it's big bucks for them. many people cannot afford to eat the good organic food due to the cost....it's all backwards if you ask me.
Organic vs The Chemically Polluted!
What a wake up call this whole experience has been. Processed food is one of the main ingredients in chronic illness and disease. Processed food is not natural food, its very low and in some cases zero in nutrient value. Our bodies need nutrient dense foods that supply us with the critical nutrients that we need for a clean bill of health. Combine processed foods with a sedentary lifestyle and you have the recipe for chronic illness and disease to take hold in your body. It may take many years of bombarding your system but in the end you'll succeed in creating some sort of funky disease for your self. Most folks are not even aware of what they are eating and how it will affect them long and short term.
Here is a video of Peter Jennings reporting on the inside. Who knows what is going on and why is nothing being done. Were gonna have to get the word out to as many people as possible and stop buying and consuming this nasty processed food. The government is not about to change their policies....that's readily apparent. So it's gonna be up to us to simply see first hand what is going on and take the right action which would be to not buy the processed food industries so called version of "food".
Real food doesn't have a shelf life of 3 or more months! What is the self life of a pop tart? Do you know? I took a look on the box in the grocey store and it had a date 0f april 24th 2009 (8 month shelf life) and these horrible little gems are marketed to our kids. Just look at the box...it's very targeted to our kids...to generate what the processed food industry calls a nag factor. The processed food industry markets to kids, kids in turn bug their parents to get it. The processed food industry knows exactly what its doing. They are in it for the almighty dollar at the expense of what really matters which is our health.
Real nutrient dense food will go bad fairly quickly.
